As of this writing, 32 other people have signed up as users on this site, who are real people, not known as spambots (which will be deleted with prejudice). At this point, the only benefits to signing up as a user are the ability to leave comments (none yet), and the ability to receive a newsletter (which is not quite in operation yet, and no one has signed up for it).
Those benefits seem a bit thin, but y’all come when you’re ready.
