With a body of 3/8″ maple over 1/4″ cherry, generic SG seals it, covered by alternating layers of acrylic paint (applied by finger w/ float medium, and small brush: including metallic antique copper, flame yellow, cadmium orange, bright red) and SG (applied with a bit of folded paper towel. The final finish consists of neutral shoe polish.
