Woodcraft describes Dalmata, native to Peru, as “warm reddish brown color with black or very dark brown streaks.” Knobs 88-91 come from wood sold as Dalmata, but which does not have those characteristics. It looks more like a reddish version of Angelique than another block of wood sold as Dalmata, which does fit the description. So this wood remains unknown. These knobs were all horizontal grain, decorated with colored sewing thread and glass beads, finished with polyurethane.
